Layer and sharks
Living in the ocean is very different from living on land. In the water sea creatures live on different levels. The levels where sea creatures live are called layers or zones. The sunlit zone is the top layer. The twilight zone is the middle layer and the midnight zone is the layer at the bottom. The sunlit layer is where most sea creatures that we know about live. The sunlit layer goes down about 600 feet and sunlight warms the water for dolphins, sharks, whales, turtles, squid, jellyfish and thousands of other marine animals. The twilight layer is the second layer in the ocean. It goes down 3,000 feet and the sunlight doesn’t reach there much. Dolphins and plants cannot live there but some sharks can. The sharks that live in the twilight’s second layer are the Mako shark and the Bull shark. The Mako shark, length is 5-12 feet and it weight is 1,000 pounds. Mako sharks are fast and graceful. The mako Jumps high out the water. The mako swin in the sunlit zone but can go 1,200 feet deep. The mako is very fast he swims 60 miles a only for a while. The bull sharks, length is 11 feet and it weighs is 500 pounds. The bull is slower than other sharks and while they are resting they can breathe. The bull shark can live in sait water and fresh water. The bull shark often attack more people other sh arks. Because Thet are aggressive.
